I was not immune to the lure of 90210 and Melrose. Even as a child I would secretly be disappointed when a family member would rather watch golf then the great Dynasty (see the nasty in that?) or Dallas (Oh J.R., your great creator has gone) I think anyone who loved him or his work openly or in secret should give a second to pay homage to the man who brought the trash romance novel to the boob-tube. A great era has ended and for this I am sad.
